Appointment Protocol and Safety Precautions
Because Monocacy Men’s Health offers home-based treatment, having other family members at home, with schools on lockdown and children or partners at home, some clients are more comfortable receiving treatment at a hotel. Monocacy Men’s Health can make arrangements for evaluation and treatment sessions at participating hotels in the Washington DC Metro area and Charleston, SC at no additional cost to you. Our equipment is portable and without identifying labels on the two carrying bags that our therapist will bring with him to appointments.
Assessment and treatment sessions need to be conducted in a quiet and undistracted environment. Schedule your appointment time during a time when you are not distracted and have a quiet and private space to be able to focus and work with your therapist without distractions so that you will get the maximum benefit from your sessions.
The comprehensive initial session includes:
- Discussion
- Assessments
- Awareness Exercises
- Tissue heating ultrasound treatment
- Stretches
- Acoustic Shockwave Therapy
- Internal rectal pelvic floor muscle examination with gloves
- External examination of penis, scrotum and pelvic floor tissues
Treatments
Treatments will involve internal and external palpation of pelvic floor muscles and other structures involved in producing, maintaining and sustaining an erection.
Biofeedback and muscle stimulators may be utilized to enhance strength retraining and muscle activation awareness.
A daily home exercise program will be established to be completed between visits.
Acoustic Shockwave Therapy treatments are included in all treatment visits and recommended every five to seven days for a minimum of six to eight weeks for maximum benefit but not more frequently than five days between sessions involving this therapy.
The Hotel Option
Monocacy Men’s Health has arrangements with select hotels in Northern Virginia and Lower Montgomery County, MD to provide in-room treatment to our clients. Although clients most often receive treatment at home, a private hotel room provides clients with an environment free from the noise of home life where pets, children, and other family members can prevent you from being fully engaged during the treatment session.
A key part of treatment sessions include focused relaxation and breathing exercises, which are best performed without having to worry about the obligations and distractions at home. The hotel setting also provides clients with an unmatched level of privacy that is uncommonly achieved in a home setting. Monocacy Men’s Health offers in-room treatment at the following hotels, indicated on the map below:

Appointment Rates
Monocacy Men’s Health extends a thank you and 10 percent appreciation discount to all active-duty police and military personnel discount with valid identification.

Cancellation Policy
Unless you face an emergency, please be considerate to cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment.
If a client is not home or unavailable for a scheduled appointment, then a $95 no-show fee will be applied.
Monocacy Men’s Health charges:
- $375 for a 75-minute comprehensive initial assessment and initial treatment.
- Follow-up treatments are grouped in bundles of six sessions costing $1,800 total, 6 x $300 per session. Acoustic Shockwave Therapy treatment’s maximum benefits occur after six sessions.
- Clients may also schedule single follow-up visits at $335 per session.
